Zürcher Ball der Offiziere 2026: Culebra at The Dolder Grand

The Zürcher Ball der Offiziere 2026 is an invitation-only gala evening hosted by the Allgemeine Offiziersgesellschaft von Zürich und Umgebung (AOG) and held at The Dolder Grand in Zurich. This is our second time at the event: after attending in 2025, we are looking forward to returning in 2026 with a dedicated Culebra table/stand.
The Zürcher Ball der Offiziere 2026 is a private occasion. We do not sell tickets and cannot accept public registrations for this event. Our presence is primarily about presentation and conversation. However, if someone discovers a cigar they truly enjoy, it may be possible to purchase cigars directly at our table/stand.

Culebra at the Zürcher Ball der Offiziere 2026: a table for conversation
Our table/stand at the Zürcher Ball der Offiziere 2026 is designed for the way cigars are best enjoyed in a formal setting: with calm, good manners, and genuine curiosity. If you already know what you like, we’ll gladly point you to a familiar direction. If you’re exploring, we’ll keep it simple: what to expect in body and aroma, and which format might fit your moment.
Our goal is not to “pitch” — it’s to represent cigar culture with the same qualities a good cigar asks of you: patience, attention, and a little elegance.
Culebra cigars: Robusto, Toro & Corona
At our table/stand, you’ll find Culebra across our core formats: Robusto, Toro, and Corona. Even when a cigar shares the same blend DNA, the format changes the rhythm — how quickly it warms up, how the draw feels, and how aromas unfold from the first third to the finish.
As a gentle guideline:
-
Robusto often feels more direct and focused, with flavour that shows early.
-
Toro gives more time and can reveal more transitions as it develops.
-
Corona is classic and elegant, often perceived as especially balanced.
If you’d like, we’ll also share a simple approach to tasting: take your time in the first minutes, keep the draw gentle, and let the cigar open up naturally. In a ballroom environment, that unhurried pace is often what turns a good cigar into a memorable one.
Important note on registration
The Zürcher Ball der Offiziere 2026 is a private event. Culebra does not provide tickets and cannot accept public registrations.
About Culebra Cigars
Culebra is a Swiss cigar brand founded in 2025 — the Chinese Year of the Snake. The name Culebra means “snake” in Spanish. We create handmade cigars produced in the Dominican Republic, in an industry defined by tradition and craft.
Culebra was founded by two Swiss entrepreneurs, Nicolas Schwarz and Oliver Kneubühl, united by a shared passion for hand-rolled cigars and a commitment to quality. Our aim is simple: to craft cigars with rich, balanced aromas that can be enjoyed by both newcomers and experienced aficionados.
Our vision is built around three ideas: Cherish the Moment, Bridge Generations, and Celebrate Culture. In practice, that means slowing down, enjoying real conversation, and appreciating cigars as a cultural tradition — not just a product.
