Velvet Smoke Summer Edition begins with a welcome apéritif at 17:00, followed by the greeting at 18:30 and dinner courses from 18:45 onward. Live music starts at 19:15, the programme includes a sponsor presentation around 20:30, dessert at 21:15, and DJ music from 22:00, finishing at 23:30.

The cigars you’ll taste: Robusto, Toro & Corona

One of the joys of a guided tasting is that you don’t only taste a blend — you also taste how format changes the experience. At this event, you can explore Culebra across our core formats: Robusto, Toro and Corona.

Even when the tobacco blend is the same, the format influences the rhythm of the smoke: how quickly the cigar warms up, how the draw feels, and how aromas unfold from the first third to the finish. In our tastings, we keep it simple and practical. We’ll share the flavour profile in clear terms and help you notice the small differences — without jargon.

As a gentle guideline:

• Robusto often feels more direct and focused, with flavours that come forward early.

• Toro gives you more time and tends to show more transitions as it develops.

• Corona is a classic, elegant format that can feel particularly balanced and refined.

If you’re new to tastings, this is the easiest way to learn: choose one format you already like, then compare it with a second one — and let your palate do the rest.

Culebra is a Swiss cigar brand founded in 2025 — the Chinese Year of the Snake. The name Culebra means “snake” in Spanish. We create handmade cigars produced in the Dominican Republic, in an industry defined by tradition and craft.
